Executive Functioning Challenges

Life’s priorities and demands are constantly shifting, so, if you’re having trouble with a set of skills referred to as executive functioning it can make life much harder to navigate.

If you struggle with planning ahead to meet goals, managing your emotions, staying organized, experiencing forgetfulness, or maintaining concentration, you may have executive functioning issues. Thankfully, these skills can be strengthened and positive change can happen with the right support.

It’s likely that multiple areas of your life have been affected by executive functioning issues such as work or school, relationships, motivation, mood, and self-esteem. Our therapists take a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to helping folks improve this skill set. Our focus is on progress, not perfection.

In therapy you can expect to gain clarity about your areas of strength and where you need support, a personalized plan to help you improve your functioning, a better understanding of underlying issues that may be contributing to these difficulties, and new ways of coping.

We are here to help you take charge, take action, and feel less overwhelmed.
