What is Intuitive Eating?

Intuitive Eating means rather than listening to external rules about

food being ‘good’ or ‘bad,’ you make your own food decisions. You pay

attention to your hunger and fullness cues and learn how to trust your body’s signals. This concept may provoke some anxiety or feel downright terrifying. This is precisely where expert support and compassion come into play.

We are all born intuitive eaters, however, those innate signals are often disrupted as a result of diet culture. In our work you can expect to learn how to get back in touch with these signals, practice nourishing your body in a thoughtful way, and find joy in your relationship with food. Most importantly, my approach to helping you heal puts you in the center of this journey because only you know your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Contact me to learn more about how we can work together to help you find relief.
